About Raptor Comics

Raptor Comics has been online for a little over three years but its various titles and comics themselves have been in the making for over ten years. The current series for Raptor Comics, 'Iara's Crossing,' is a piece of science fiction rooted in the realms of retroengineering, paleontology, and behavioral ecology, among other sciences that are becoming more mainstream. The Raptor Comics Story

Raptor Comics began in 1996 with a four part comic series created solely by Diana Pomeroy entitled 'The Adventures of Raptor.' The title character and heroine, a small, brown and seemingly unimportant dinosaur named Raptor, went on to have a multitude of adventures in short stories and other comics over the years. In 2002, Raptor took a backseat to a new storyline, featuring a furry character named Selma and her Australian adventures. Raptor Comics went online in 2005, and has since made its way to a new host, along with a new name for its title heroine--Raptor is now Iara, and she is once again the main focus of Raptor Comics.
Every issue of every series in Raptor Comics is handmade, whether via digital use or by hand, and is made entirely by Diana L. Pomeroy.
